Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor

I am a big fan of matte liquid lipsticks, but sometimes it can be hard to find a good one for an affordable price. While I can list a handful of high end cosmetic companies that have amazing liquid lipsticks there are times when I don't feel like dropping $20 and up for a lipstick.

Fortunately, things started to look up for me when I discovered the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor at my local CVS. This stuff was a game-changer.

 



I'd seen this product many times in passing and had just written it off. But I finally decided to give it a chance and I'm really glad I did.

Revlon offers 16 shades that range from cool tone reds to warm pinks. I found the formula to be really nice because it doesn't dry out the lips. While it does transfer a little I also found that it stayed on the lips really well. I mean, after a glass of water and a slice of pizza the stuff was still looking good. That's saying something for a drugstore lip product.

I put it on at 7:30 am for work and noticed that it didn't start to fade until around 2:30 pm. That's at least 6 hours of wear. Needless to say, I was impressed. Also, I noticed that it didn't bleed from my lip line or move around as the day progressed. The only negative thing I have to say about this product is that it had more of a satin look when I first swiped it on. But after I pressed my lips together a few times it dried down to a nice matte. I chose the color Kisses.
