L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Drugstore Gems. In today's post we'll be taking a looking at what I consider to be the best foundation you'll ever find at the drugstore - the L'Oreal Paris Infalliable Pro-Matte Foundation.

I have oily skin and I live in Louisiana so I'm exposed to humidity about 90% of the time, so finding an affordable foundation that actually helps eliminate oil is a must. I'd heard a lot of good things about the L'Oreal Pro-Matte foundation so when I saw it in my local Walgreens I had to give it a try. And I'm sure glad I did.

HERE'S THE LOWDOWN >>>

The L'Oreal Paris Infalliable Pro-Matte foundation is full coverage and dries to a demi-matte finish, giving the skin a soft, shine-free look. At Walgreens it was $13.49 but you can find it cheaper at Ulta for $12.99. Either way, you end with an awesome foundation for a price that won't break the bank.

There are currently 12 shades available, ranging from light to dark, so almost every complexion is covered. Also, the packaging is great for travel storage because it comes in a flat-like tube that dispenses the products from the bottom. Personally, I like these kinds of foundation bottles most because I feel like I can get more of the product out when the bottle's almost empty. Plus it fits into my makeup bag nicely.

BOTTOM LINE:

In my opinion, this foundation is worth every penny. It holds up well throughout the day and it helps to blur imperfections. It controls oil very well and works just as well as any high end foundation I've tried. Honestly, sometimes it works a little better than some high end foundations. I've mixed this foundation many times with the Becca Ever-Matte Shine Proof foundation to achieve the full coverage look I go for. Plus it held up nicely through 10 hours of wear. For me, if my foundation can stay looking decent through a work day then it's done it's job.

So if you're looking for a really awesome, full coverage foundation for an affordable price definitely give the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation a try.
